# Mastercard Open Finance US (Finicity)

> Bank-data aggregator - access route, data references, and integration requirements.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Active (Beta).** This integration is available in beta. Coverage depends on market, product, and account permissions. [View integration status](https://docs.amlok.io/integrations/status.md).

| Property | Definition |
| - | - |
| Provider ID | BANK-03 |
| Integration status | Active (Beta) |
| Category | Bank Integrations |
| Product type | Bank-data aggregator |
| Evidence reviewed | 2026-10-22 |

## Integration approach

Data Connect plus Open Finance APIs for accounts, transactions, statements and reports. This documented offering is US-focused; Canadian institution support must be established separately before selecting it for a Canada-only rollout.

## Access and approval

Executed Mastercard contract plus Production access review required. Approval ETA not disclosed. The 30-day Test Drive Premium period is a live-data trial duration, not an approval estimate.

**Documentation availability:** Public REST API reference, quickstart and test profiles.

## Data refresh

**Provider update cadence:** Once daily for active accounts; restricted on-demand refresh.

Finicity automatically refreshes active accounts once per day. Its Refresh Customer Accounts endpoint allows a customer-specific refresh for a concrete business need, subject to product access.

The documented service prohibits automating calls to its Refresh endpoints. Additional refresh use must be agreed with the provider; repeated API reads do not force a new institution refresh. Availability also depends on the billing tier.

**AMLOK synchronization:** The enabled refresh mode and schedule are agreed for your connection. Provider timing describes upstream capability; allow for retrieval and processing before changes appear in AMLOK. See [data refresh and freshness](https://docs.amlok.io/integrations/data-refresh.md).
