## Integration approach

Open API v3 + shop authorization; commercial app approval and permitted financial fields require review.

## Access and approval

AMLOK needs approved third-party/commercial access; ETA ND. Own-shop seller apps can be approved within minutes but do not authorize AMLOK's multi-merchant use. Review source.

## Data refresh

**Provider update cadence:** On supported order, listing, and inventory events.

Etsy provides webhooks for supported order, listing, and inventory events. Subscribed events can prompt retrieval of the relevant authorized API resources.

Event coverage is specific: an inventory event is not a notification for every possible stock change. App authorization, scopes, and the supported event list determine coverage. Other data requires scheduled API reads within the app's limits.

**AMLOK synchronization:** The enabled refresh mode and schedule are agreed for your connection. Provider timing describes upstream capability; allow for retrieval and processing before changes appear in AMLOK. See [data refresh and freshness](https://docs.amlok.io/integrations/data-refresh.md).
