# Agent skills

> Install the AMLOK integration skill so your coding agent can follow documented Insights, Signal, reporting, and recovery workflows with consistent rules.

Give your coding agent reusable instructions for building with AMLOK. The AMLOK integration skill connects product workflows, API references, and implementation checks in one maintained resource.

## Install the skill

Run the following command from your application project and select your supported coding agent when prompted:

```bash theme={null}
npx skills add https://docs.amlok.io
```

The installer requires Node.js and `npx`. Review the skill before installing it into your project.

> [card] [Read the AMLOK skill](https://docs.amlok.io/.well-known/skills/amlok-integration/SKILL.md)
>
> Open the complete skill, including workflows and source links.

> [card] [Connect through MCP](https://docs.amlok.io/overview/mcp-server.md)
>
> Search integration guidance and discover available skill resources.

For an agent with manual skill installation, open **Read the AMLOK skill** and save its contents as `SKILL.md` in an `amlok-integration` folder inside your agent's supported skill directory. Follow your agent's installation instructions for the directory location.

## Workflows covered

| Workflow | What the skill guides your agent through |
| - | - |
| Insights | Authorized source data, evidence readiness, a complete underwriting, asynchronous results, and a single completion charge. |
| Signal | Approved monitoring baselines, activation, risk changes, alerts, and one charge per borrower/business per month. |
| Reporting | Credit balances, consumption, negotiated rate cards, and report exports without financial controls. |
| Reliable integration | Workspace isolation, webhook verification, pagination, idempotency, durable recovery, and sandbox acceptance checks. |

## Use it with your coding agent

After installation, give your agent a task and your application's non-secret context:

```text theme={null}
Use the AMLOK integration skill to add Signal to our existing backend.
Read our project first, then use the current AMLOK API specification.
Implement monitoring from an approved baseline, signed webhook handling,
and usage reporting. Preserve our existing authentication and data access.
Use synthetic fixtures for tests and report which checks actually ran.
```

Use the [integration prompt](https://docs.amlok.io/overview/integration-prompt.md) when you want a fuller implementation brief with product selection and acceptance criteria.

## Access and product rules

Installing a skill supplies instructions, not credentials or workspace access. Your account manager provides portal and environment information. An authorized administrator creates the workspace-scoped API key in the portal; your application keeps it on the server.

The skill keeps verification, lien searches, calculations, and investigations inside an authorized Insights or Signal workflow. It also preserves reporting-only financial APIs and the institution's responsibility for credit decisions and borrower communications.

Review generated code and complete your provisioned sandbox checks before enabling production processing. Documentation examples and local tests do not establish that a live workflow has succeeded.
