Why the Billing screen contains records
Every Sandbox receives CAD 5,000.00 in simulated starting credits. Sample underwriting and monitoring consume simulated credits and create usage records. Payment scenarios create fictional funding and reversal records so your integration can exercise both successful and unsuccessful outcomes.
Test credits have no cash value and cannot be moved to Live. Sample prices and balances are fixtures; your Live pricing and agreement govern real operations.
Payment outcomes you can exercise
- Successful card top-up: creates a successful simulated payment and posts test credits.
- Declined card payment: records failure without increasing the balance.
- Pending ACH: appears in funding history while the balance remains unchanged.
- ACH settlement: moves a pending payment to success and posts test credits.
- ACH return or refund: records a linked reversal without rewriting earlier transactions.
- Automatic top-up: evaluates a fixed synthetic CAD 199.00 balance against a CAD 200.00 trigger and posts a CAD 1,000.00 simulated top-up. It does not change your saved automatic top-up settings or drain the shared balance.
- Insufficient credits: pauses an underwriting, applies simulated funding and resumes the same Origination. It does not drain other developers’ test credits.
Reconcile the generated activity
1
Check the balance
Read
GET /v1/billing/summary to see simulated available credits and consumption. Confirm that you are using a Sandbox key.2
Inspect funding states
Read
GET /v1/billing/payments. Pending and failed payments do not create spendable credits; successful settlement does.3
Follow credit movements and usage
Read
GET /v1/billing/transactions and GET /v1/billing/usage. Match funding, deductions and reversals using their linked identifiers. Use pagination to retrieve the complete history.4
Compare with the console
Review the same generated activity in Billing and the associated scenario run. Repeating a test adds new records; it does not clear earlier ledger entries or reset credits.
